Why is my KNX blind run time longer than the parameterised value?
Some blind actuators have a default overrun of 20% to ensure the blind has fully reached the stop or close position. This ensures subsequent positional commands are more accurate.
On Gira blind actuators this additional run time is added to long time movements or 0% and 100% position commands. Intermediate positional commands are not affected.
On Theben blind actuators, 20% is also added to the run time but only to the long time movement command. 1 byte positional commands are not affected.
ABB and Zennio blind actuators have parameters for setting the overrun amount providing more flexibility if needed.
